No one has forgotten the delicateness and magnificence of her wedding dress … Faithful to Sophie Hallette laces, Kate Middleton perseveres with a gray Erdem coat appliqued with a piece of black Chantilly lace. The sort of clothing the Duchess of Cambridge adores, both creative and distinguished, where we find the masculine/feminine mix of the designer’s Autumn 2015 precollection that combined wool and lace on dresses and trench coats. Though Kate did prefer to accessorize the coat with ultra-feminine pumps rather than the men’s oxfords in the fashion show … plus a jaunty hat by mythical hatmaker John Boyd (necessary for British protocole) ! In short, the perfect outfit to join the entire royal family and celebrate Commonwealth Day in London’s Westminster Abbey.
