Tulle had a wonderful night out in New York recently…at the Roman banquet to celebrate the launch of Bulgari & Rome: Eternal Inspiration at their NY store. A sumptuous dinner was held at the historic James B Duke mansion on the Upper East Side …interestingly the design for which was drawn from the Hotel Labottiere in Bordeaux (nice French touch!)…. and it goes without saying that all the guests wore creations from top Roman designers such as Valentino . Check out the gorgeous outfits worn by Cleo Wade and Lily Kwong showcasing Sophie Hallette’s famous Illusion Tulle. Just shows how versatile this wonderful fabric is. But Alexa Chung was the undoubted star of the show in this divine Valentino gown….ethereal and romantic at the same time. Sophie Hallette tulle again!
