Since the Leavers loom was invented, flowery breezes and poetic vegetation recreate lace’s eternal astonishment every season. So naturally Sophie Hallette has chosen to celebrate gardens for Spring-Summer 2017 by encouraging its designers and drafters to let their imagination wander down garden paths from around the world … The result ? Three gardens to discover in preview at Paris’ Première Vision fair in a multitude of voyages, meanders and dreams. A traditional garden that emphasizes France’s heritage in pastry colors and royal touches, a tropical garden that overflows with luxurious motifs, vitamin-charged harmonies and pop novelties and a Zen garden that seeks balance, stylized purity and calm tones. Each universe is captured in extraordinary laces filled with beauty, know-how and emotion.
